Entos was established by our senior engineer, Alex Laird. He is a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer.

STRUCTURAL INSPECTIONS

We provide a variety of structural inspections. These range from a basic visual to a detailed invasive analysis. If you require an inspection for mortgage applications, buying a house, cracking, subsidence and planning applications, we have outlined our standard services and costs here.

HISTORIC BUILDINGS

From grade 1 listed stately homes to Cornish tin mines, we have a wealth of experience in maintaining historic structures. We can carry out structural surveys to support heritage impact statements, conservation, strengthening and barn conversions.

DRAINAGE

Entos can assist you with foul and stormwater drainage design, flood risk assessments and drainage strategy

RETAINING WALLS

A collapsed retaining wall? We can help. Our reports can be used to support an insurance claim. We provide full design service for replacement or new retaining walls

RECENT PROJECTS

'SEA EDGE' - FEATURED IN THE GRAND DESIGNS MAGAZINE

2017

The existing two-storey house was demolished and replaced with this contemporary designed house by award-winning architects KAST. We completed all the engineering for the project.

'SYLVANIA' - BUILD IT AWARDS WINNER

2019

Formally a scrubland, this site was transformed into a cantilevering house. Entos provided the engineering. The stand-out piece of design is the inclined slender v-columns. Kast Architects and Davey Construction.
